Bradford & Company Hawthorn® Guitars
Our Hawthorn Dreadnought guitars are made one using choice wood and the best hardware available. Guitars are available in East Indian rosewood or mahogany and generally follow the shape and dimensions of the legendary Martin D-18 and D-28.
A variety of options are available on our Dreadnoughts, including all wood binding, custom inlay patterns, herringbone trim, and even abalone trim. These fine instruments are available with two piece or three piece backs. German Silver spruce (European spruce) is standard for tops but Sitka, Engelmann or Adirondack red spruce is available upon request. Our Hawthorn Dreadnoughts have earned kudos for playability, tone and volume from our Bluegrass community in the Kansas City area. We are now offering these fine guitars nationwide.
